Refund policy

We want you to be happy with every order from Sarahnewyork India. If something isn't right, you can return it within 7 days of delivery and we will collect it from your door for free.

Return window

  • You can request a return or exchange within 7 days of the date your order was delivered.
  • Requests made after 7 days cannot be accepted, except for manufacturing defects reported under the section below.

Return shipping is free

We arrange a free doorstep pickup for every approved return anywhere we deliver in India. You do not pay any return shipping charges. If pickup isn't available at your pin code, we will tell you how to send the item back and reimburse the courier cost in full.

Condition of returned items

  • Items must be unused, unwashed and in their original condition, with original packaging, tags, accessories, manuals and free gifts included.
  • Personal-care and intimate items (bras and intimates, sleep patches, the scalp massaging bar and Vita Pro nutrition powder) can be returned only if they are unopened, with the hygiene seal or packaging intact. This is for the health and safety of all customers.
  • Damaged, defective or wrong items can always be returned within 7 days, whether opened or not.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or short video of the item and packaging. We will arrange a free pickup and send a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

How to start a return

  1. Email support@sarahnewyork.shop with your order number, the item(s) you want to return and the reason.
  2. We confirm your request within 48 hours and schedule a free pickup.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and hand it to the courier.

Refunds

  • Once the item reaches us and passes a quick quality check (usually within 2 business days), we email you to confirm your refund.
  • Prepaid orders: refunded to your original payment method. The money usually appears within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Cash on delivery orders: refunded to your UPI ID or bank account within 5–7 business days of approval.
  • You receive a full refund of the product price. We never charge restocking or return fees.

Exchanges

Need a different size or colour? Request an exchange within 7 days of delivery. We pick up the original item for free and ship the replacement for free, subject to stock. If the replacement is out of stock, we refund you in full.

Cancellations

  • You can cancel any order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Email us with your order number.
  • If your order has already been dispatched, you can refuse delivery or request a return once it arrives.
